School Trips, Visitors and Special Days

Roald Dahl Day 2021

The children had lots of fun dressing up for Roald Dahl Day at school today. We listened to The Enormous Crocodile Story. We then had a go at painting our own crocodiles, making our own split pin crocodiles and cutting zigzag lines for the crocodiles teeth!

Diwali 2021

The children have enjoyed learning about Diwali this week and the festival of light.  We have looked at the story of Rama and Sita and then made our own diva lamps. We sculpted the lamps using clay and moulded them with our fingers. We then decorated them using paint.

Children in Need 2021

Christmas 2021

A big thank you to all of the parents that have come to watch and provided costumes for our Whoops a Daisy Nativity. The children were all little superstars, we hope you enjoyed our singing!

Number Day 2022

We loved celebrating number day today by dressing up in our own clothes displaying numbers. Our favourite part was having a visit from the Maths Magician! We loved his balloon tricks and hope that we can see him again soon.

World Book Day 2022

The children loved dressing up for World Book Day today! We shared lots of stories and enjoyed talking about our favourite books and story characters. Thank you for all of your help and support with your child's costumes. They all looked fabulous!

Science Fair 2022

The children were so excited to visit the Science Fair today. We had fun exploring the different experiments and were keen to talk about them when we came back.

Meanwood Valley Farm Trip 2022

The children all had a fabulous time going to the farm to visit the animals today! We saw cows, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, donkeys, alpacas, rabbits and guinea pigs!

St Mary's Church

We enjoyed our trip to the church to see the different features of a Church that we had been learning about in class.

Pakistani Culture Day 2022

The children have loved their hands on experience of what it is like to take part in some of the Wedding celebrations in the Pakistani culture. They especially loved the dancing and getting to try out some henna.
