Mega Moves Monday

Hi everyone, we all hope you are all well and keeping safe and warm. Today, you may see a few different things below to keep your children learning and exercising at the same time. One of these is called dough disco which is brilliant for exercising the muscles needed for fine motor and writing. The children know what to do as we do this in school frequently, you will just need a pot of play dough. They can join in on their own and you never know you may find yourself joining in as well.

Literacy

This week we are celebrating pancake day which we know all the children love. Normally we would have lots of opportunities for sensory play and pancake making with malleable materials such as play dough. Below I have included some images of trays you can make to promote the learning of number and language relating to pancake day with your child. This is potentially something you can keep out all week if they are enjoying it. All you need is a deep and wide tray or container. Garden trays are ideal and large pet trays also.
