Read together

And here is a  version of ‘The Enormous Turnip’ for you to read to your child. Read it everyday for your child to learn it by heart.  Remember to use actions and before you know it your child will be finishing the sentences for you.

Check for understanding

Talk about the words and pictures in the story.

What does 'enormous' mean?  Can we think of other words that mean the same?    Really, really big,  huge,  massive,  gigantic?

Talk Time

Look at the pictures and say what you can see.

Try to use the word enormous in your sentence.
