Maths -

Today we are going to be looking at grouping. We can sort our shapes into groups of colour or shape. If we sorted them by colour that means they would all be blue, or pink. We could not mix the colours. If they were sorted by shape then they all would be triangles or circles.

Writing -

In our writing today we are going to write a letter to the spanish king and queen. They sent Christopher Columbus on his journey with us and they want to know what we have been up to. What I would like you to do is write about the different things we have done -

 - Go to the lost lagoon and swim underwater

- See the womping willow tree and try to get the clue from the inside of it.

- Go to the maze and had races to get to the middle the quickest.

I would like you to use time connectives in your work today. First - next - then - finally.

Today we are concentrating on our handwriting again, you have really been improving with your handwriting but I want to clearly see your tall, small and below the line letters. Please make sure your letters are the correct way around too.
