Dough Disco

We love our dough disco time every day. This is when we use our hands and fingers to mould play dough. We do it to music and shape the dough by rolling it into a ball, flattening it, pushing each finger into the dough, rolling it into a sausage, squeezing it and using our finger and thumb to pinch it. We do these actions because they help to strengthen our hands and fingers. It is important to develop our fine motor muscles so that we can hold and use a pencil well. It’s really good fun.
