This week we have been looking at number 9. We have been counting, representing and the composition of number 9. We have also looked at the numeral number 9 and where it is on a number track to 10. We have also looked at which number comes before and after 9.
This week we have looked at the number 10. We have counted, represented and looked at the composition of number 10. The children have also been counting forwards and backwards to 10.
This week we have been looking at our number bonds to 10 and having a lot of time to explore and remember these. We have also been looking at length and ordering lengths.
This week in maths we are learning to find half of shapes and numbers. We know that to find half of something means it needs to be split into two equal pieces. (The numbers/shape size must be exactly the same)
This week in maths we and deepening our knowledge on numbers 1 to 10 as well as revisiting creating and continuing repeating patterns.
