Adventure work

When you met Paelontologist Penny earlier in the week she told you her job was to find facts out about dinosaurs. I would like you to use the link below to find your own facts out about dinosaurs.

Reading

Listen to the story 'The Bear who went Boo!' read by David Walliams.

Can you go on a hunt in your garden for items you could use to make a bear cave or if you are allowed you might want to make a den in your living room with cushions and blankets.

What does a bear cave look like? Do you think Bears like their caves light or dark?

Remember to put a photo of you in your bear cave on Tapestry.

Maths

We have been thinking about what makes things the same and what makes things different. Click the link to access the sheets pictured above. Can you find your own way of sorting the objects?

Phonics

Today we are exploring the sound 'd'. 'd-d-dinosaur'. Can you go on a walk and spot some things that begin with 'd'.

Science - exploring seasons

Winter is the coldest season of the year. I wonder if you could hunt for signs of winter. Try breathing into the cold air, what happens?

Can you see leaves on the trees? Do you see any flowers?

How does it feel outside?

Let me know what signs you find and upload your work to Tapestry so I can see what you've been doing.
