Maths
MONDAY
Today, we're revisiting time. Find the slides attached from the live lesson below and then you have the 3 activities below to have a go at.
TUESDAY
Today, we're going to move onto looking at measuring time in seconds. In the live lesson, I'll show you a pendulum and how it works. The slides from the lesson and activities for you to do can be downloaded below.
WEDNESDAY
NO LIVE LESSON TODAY - PLEASE FOLLOW THE VIDEO BELOW FOR INSTRUCTIONS OF HOW TO COMPLETE THE ACTIVITY
Today, you're going to get practical to start with and have a go at the activity below. I'd like you to choose 3 activities and predict how many seconds it will take you to do that activity (for example: climbing the stairs, 10 star jumps, tying your shoelace). Then, have a go at the activity, get someone at home to time you, take a picture or video, and then record it in a table.
Once you have done that, have a go at the Guided Practice and workbook activities below! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
THURSDAY
Today, we're going to look at measuring time in hours. Follow the slides below which I went through in the live lesson and then complete the 3 activities below. There is also a times table challenge to have a go at today seeing as you won't be in school to do a times table test - see how you get on!
FRIDAY
Today, we're going to look at working out what time something started when we know the finish time. For each of the questions, write the time NOW in digital and then the time 2 hours ago.
