Important Information:

PE

PE will be on a Thursday morning. Children will need to make sure they have full kit on this day. 

Spellings

Spellings will be sent home on a Friday on a 2 week cycle. Your child will get 5 spellings to learn over a two week period. At the end of this period, the spellings will be reviewed with the children to ensure they are comfortable spelling them. New spellings will then be issued.

Homework

Homework will be set every Friday and will be expected back in the following Wednesday in order to check, stamp and re-issue new homework.

Reading Books

New reading books will be sent home every Friday and will need to be returned on a Monday so the children can be heard read by us during the week. Progress in children's reading is made by frequent practice to help support fluency and understanding. It is therefore important that, where possible, children are heard read at home.
