Cliffhanger
Our new Adventure will be called ‘Cliffhanger’ and will be based on the children’s book by Jaqueline Wilson. We will be reading the whole of the book as a class and will be completing a variety of activities based on this, which you can see below...
We met Tim again and found out a bit more about his first day at camp. We then wrote a letter about this. We had a big focus on Wizard Words, which we practiced putting into sentences.
We created some sculptures in the style of Anthony Gormley. These were from the characters in Clffhanger and we put these altogether to create our own ‘Summer Camp Field.
We have also written a Character Description about Giles from Cliffhanger. When doing this, we considered his appearance, personalities and interests. We presented our ideas to the class, which helped us structure our Character Description.
In RE, we have been learning about prayer. We have considered the different how prayer is similar and different in the religions of Christianity, Islam and Judaism.
