Adventure 1- Time travelling Ted
Meet Ted, an old, well loved teddy bear. He is not sure where he came from and everyone else in Sam's bedroom has a story about where they came from. Help Ted find where he came from by travelling back in time!
We enjoyed our school trip to Kirkstall Abbey Museum. We got the chance to look at and compare old and new toys. We also enjoyed looking at the old cobbled streets and talking about life in the past. The children were exceptionally behaved and represented the school perfectly. Well done Cherry Class!
Following on from this the children looked closer at the older toys from the museum.
A huge thank you to parents for attending our toy museum. The children loved showing off what they have been learning about in history!
Year 2 had the road safety team from Leeds City Council in for a workshop. They then got to go out and learn to cross the road safely.
