Maths

As usual, start by completing your arithmetic questions on the slides. Today's investigation is a bit like a Sudoku: you'll be finding possible combinations as well as thinking about their arrangements. The information is on the slides and there is a sheet to complete it on. I have also given you a sheet that you can use to test out some of your arrangements. 

Reading

Today we moved onto the "Then" section of the book and read Chapter One (see below for a copy). During this chapter, we learnt about the Eels that live on the island where Zoe finds herself. Complete the character study about the Eels using what you learnt. 

Writing

Today you will write your second and third main paragraphs of your letter. You will need the planning sheet you completed on Monday so you have all of your arguments and the SPAG sheet you started yesterday for your sentence openers and causal conjunction sentences. The example paragraph is on the slides again to remind you how to structure your writing.
