The Negative Hat

Here is another story called The Worrysaurus which was written and illustrated by Rachel Bright.  It might help if you are feeling a little bit worried about something.

The Colour Monster is a great story to talk about emotions and feelings.

Children’s mental health week- 1-7th February

It’s snowing!
Perfect day to get outside, get some fresh air, exercise, and have lots of fun.  Give the kids some freedom to explore, be creative and enjoy!
When their little red cheeks and noses get too cold, bring them inside, snuggle up and enjoy some time chatting about the fun they’ve had or sharing a story.   Have a wonderful day together.

Feelings - let's talk about how we are feeling.

Here are some resources that you can use to talk to your child about their feelings and how they are feeling at the moment. I have set a task for the children to complete on Thursday of week 4 which will get them talking about their feelings. Can they point to the different pictures and describe how they are feeling? Can you take them on a mindful walk to give them a bit of time just you and them in the fresh air?

As always, there are always people to talk to and if you need anything don't hesitate to call us.
