For our multiplication and division topic, we have been using our knowledge of place value to help us. Here, you can see we have been sharing amounts equally using the hundreds, tens and ones place value counters.

We have also divided using pictures and place-value-counters, which has lead us onto using other methods in our division. 

We have started or Maths No Problem scheme with counting this year! We have already

ready looked at counting up in 25s and 1000s and used our place value knowledge to help us with this!

Here are some of the methods we have been using for our addition and subtraction work. These range from mental arithmetic to column methods.
