Changes through the Ages
Changes in Britain from the Stone Age to Iron Age
The Lower Key Stage 2 children have been learning about life in the stone age through to the iron age.
The children also got to visited Skelton Grange and they learnt to live the life of a stone age person. The children learnt to make shelters, hunt for animals and food, make bread and gut a fish. They also learnt how they started fires. The chidlren also had the opportunity to make a thumb pot and learnt how nets were made using the bark of a tree. The chidlren loved the trip.
