Shape of the Week

Autumn 2 - Week 1

 

Hexagon

 

Hexagons have 6 sides, that means any shape you see with 6 sides is a hexagon.

We have regular hexagons and irregular hexagons.

 

Count the sides and decide if it is a hexagon or not.

Week 5 - square

My square song features a happy singing square character that lets children not only see a square shape, but also gives them a catchy fun song to sing-a-long with. The square song and character focus on the characteristics of a square.

WEEK 4 - Triangle

Shapes are Everywhere! Learn shapes while you sing along to this kids song (with lyrics). Can you spot the different shapes in everyday objects? A computer screen has a rectangle shape, a clock has a circle shape, a tent looks like a triangle, and a checker board has lots of squares!
