1. Learn about money management and budgeting

Each Friday, Sycamore get guitar lessons from Mr Goodchild
3. Go on a Fossil hunt
While on residential, there is an opportunity to look at fossils while on the walk and while caving.
4. Contribute to the Westwood Parliament
At the beginning of the year, the class voted on their school council members.
5. Perform poetry to an audience
6. Look after the local environment
7. Ride a rollercoaster
8. Prepare and cook a meal
9. Sleep away from home
In the last week before Christmas, the children had the opportunity to go on a residential to Buckden House.
10. Go underground
While on residential, the children had an opportunity to go caving.
11. Visit a theatre
12. Engage in discussions about substance
In January, the children had a workshop from D:Side all about drugs; everything from legal ones like coffee and paracetamol to the various illegal kinds.
13. Climb a mountain
While on residential, the children went on a walk on a nearby mountain.
14. Represent the school in a competition as a team or an individual
Many of the children have had the opportunity to join Westwood football team and play against other schools.
15. Take part in a debate
As part of our learning, we have been working at improving our Oracy skills. This involves a weekly debate in class.
16. Perform a musical on stage
During their time in Willow class, the children should each have the opportunity to achieve all of these wishes!
