Workshops
AI Discovery Workshop
20th January 2026

Our children in Sycamore and Willow had an amazing time taking part in an AI workshop provided by AI in Schools.
The workshop used fun activities and games to learn how to train a computer to recognise patterns, similar to how humans learn from experiences i.e. Machine Learning.
Friendly or Unfriendly?
In this activity the children had to train an AI model to determine whether a message was friendly or unfriendly.
They used Machine Learning for Kids to do this and then Scratch to code and test their AI model using sequencing, iteration and selection.

The children learnt about the significant environmental impact of using ChatGPT due to its high energy usage and discovered some incredible facts including:
We discussed how important it is to develop sustainable practices, as AI technologies continue to evolve.
AI Games

The children loved exploring lots of games which teach them how to interact with AI to generate images and music. These are great for all ages and you can play them at home as a family for free.

This is a fun game where you have 20 seconds to draw something and the AI tries to guess what it is!

In this game you are given a picture and have to describe it so well that the AI can generate a similar image from your description.

Blob Opera is a fun music game where you move the singing blobs around to make them sing together in harmony.

This generative AI game enables you to draw a picture and the AI will turn your drawing into music and a story.
We hope you enjoy playing them as much as the children did, as you can see!
