Pupil Progress

EYFS

In Early Years children are given the opportunity to access a variety of technology, including Ipads, on which they can access Mini Mash, the Early Years area on Purple Mash.

Mini Mash links the appropriate resources on Purple Mash to the areas of learning and development from the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (2021).

The children are encouraged to use technology, including Mini Mash, to enhance their development across the Early Years curriculum. The fun, colourful activities on Mini Mash keep them engaged in and enthusiastic about their learning and provide them with an excellent foundation on which to build their Computing knowledge and skills as they go into Key Stage 1.

Here the children were learning about how to sort different things. Here they had to sort shapes by colour and some of the children were even able to sorts shapes by the number of sides!

When the children’s Adventure took them to Fairytale Land they met the Three Little Pigs who told them all about how the Big Bad Wolf had blown down some of their houses. They used clip art to retell the story and then learnt a new skill, adding a photograph to their work!
