Displays
At Westwood, we believe our maths displays should support children in lessons. They should provide children with prompts and guidance for the topic being taught and worked examples of the methods being used. We display them on squared paper to reflect the presentation expectations we have of children's books. In addition to this, in classes where Maths No Problem is being taught, there is an expectation for teachers to provide a range of practical equipment that children can access as and when needed.
