Ratio & Proportion
In Year Six, children learn about ratio and proportion. They solve problems by comparing the relative sizes of quantities; solve problems involving calculating percentages; use percentages for comparison; use scale factors to draw and compare shapes; and use their knowledge of fractions and multiples to solve problems involving unequal groups or sharing.
