We Are Incredible! Adventure Four
We are searching for our superpower! After opening the treasure chest on our last adventure we suddenly became superheroes.The only problem is we don't know what our power is! We are being sent to live with the Incredibles to see if they can help us find out what makes us so super.
We wrote an application to super hero school, asking them if they would let us join them!
We looked at lots of different super heroes and tried to draw them with pencil crayons.
We looked at mindfulness and what we can do to calm down when we get angry. We thought that we could go for a walk, read a book, dance or even sing!
After a hard day, Mrs Incredible likes to do different yoga poses to help her relax. We had a go at doing them ourselves and had lots of fun!
We wrote instructions on how to do the super yoga poses we practised in the hall - Mr Incredible wanted to leanr how we did them!
We met Mrs Incredible this week. She went on a mission to stop a moving train from falling off the tracks! We wrote all about it.
We tried to make our own graffiti art, just like the scary villain who is going around Middleton spraying graffiti all over everything! We wrote wow words in our graffiti bubbles and used pastels to colour them in.
We wanted to make our very own super hero badge. We drew a star shape on felt and then cut it out - being super careful with the scissors. We then drew our initials on it and made it pretty.
This week we met Dash - we wanted to run fast just like him! We decided to hold our very own races in class to see if maybe that was our superpower. We had to do lots of running and then we found the fastest person in class - it was Austen!
We looked at Jesus and his friends and found out that he helped lots of people when they are in need. We thought that this was just like us being superheroes and helping the town of middleton. We looked at the story of Jesus healing people and then had to sequence our story in the right order.
We wanted to be like Frozone and turn water into ice. We made a prediction about where we could store it and why it would freeze there. We decided in the freezer would be the best place as it is so cold!
We designed and made our very own super hero masks!
We wanted to tell other superheros how to freeze water like Frozone so we wrote some super instructions.
